Community Opportunity and Law Enforcement Program (COP)

Realizing that law enforcement can reduce crime alone, CSI established C.O.P to tackle high crime areas and serve as a catalyst for building safe communities across Texas and beyond.

COP has grown into a comprehensive safety model that today has received rave reviews by police chiefs, city managers, elected officials, property managers and residents.  Its primary goals are to reduce crime, improve the quality of life for residents and build viable, long-term partnerships with other community-focused organizations.

By employing these 3 major principles, COP brings together residents, management and law enforcement into a collaborative partnership to reduce crime:

1. Approach residents with respect
2. Educate residents on crime trends in their immediate community
3. Engage residents to collaborate and engage with law enforcement

Through its relationships with various privately owned high-risk apartment management companies and public housing affiliates, COP continues to show a progressive, steady reduction in the crime rate. Since its inception, C.O.P has expanded to four major cities across the country in the states of Texas, Alabama, North Carolina, and Missouri.

By placing off duty police officers or armed/unarmed security guards on our clients' property, CSI works closely with property managers, residents and other community stakeholders, to build safety strategies responsive and unique to the needs of the respective community.

CSI has the security expertise, structure and rapport to continue its progress and build upon its current successes.
